Whenever I've a bad day, all the bad things just come to me in heaps.
You can feel as if those bad things just come to you purposefully to
fucking piss you off. It's as if the bad-luck-God is telling to
me "In your fucking face, bitch!". If anyone read the Doraemon comics,
you can tell my bad day's bad luck can be compared to Nobita's. It's
also as the bad-luck-God wants me to make me feel so shit and depressed
and it wants me to commit suicide.
This is how a bad day is in Choonie's life.

It's taken me almost 20+ years to understand Family Love.
.... by loving & looking up to them when I was a child
.... by hating them & yearning for independence & freedom when I was a teenager
.... by missing them & understanding them so much when I'm really far away from them
Perhaps it's not just ethics & respect but there is really a love.
Its a kinda love that goes on for so many years, and perhaps forever.
So besides family love,
Now, I'm gonna try to understand LOVE
.... a love between non-familial relationships
.... a love that all girls dream about
.... a love that surpasses men's need for companion & sex.
Now it is this LOVE that turns its form into family love in the future.
And since I've already understood family love to be so powerful, I'll
just be waiting and anticipating soon for this 'LOVE' to come into my
life. And I will wonder how long it will take..

My memento on Malaysian politics..
In the recent wake of the Bersih rally, I decided to finally write a political blogpost.
You know back then when I was a kid, during Mahathir's reign, my family
and I used to support BN. As he was retiring, we slowly realised all
the crap and shit we get from government gets even worse these times.
And then Pak Lah came and replaced him and we had great hopes about
him. Which after 4 years now many did not come true.
It is during these times, we supported the opposition parties,
especially DAP and maybe PKR. Were together with them for the fight for
fairness, transparency and justice against the corrupted democracy in
Malaysia. I was supporting them forawhile until my conscience start to
tell me something does not seem all that good with them. Their agenda
in politics to me, is too one-dimensional to me. It does not improve
over the inefficient ruling government. So, now, I start to lose faith
in both the ruling and opposition parties. I stand at a neutral ground
now.. for a few years.
Throughout my whole life, the story of politics in Malaysia has always
been the same. Its the same old stories and I'm not gonna blog any
details about it, because theres already so many other anti-government
blogs around to read about.
People call me politically apathetic. Thats true, about my attitude
today, but not my knowledge. They thought I never heard of Michael
Backman, Khairy cronies, Hisham's keris, but no, I heard and read about
them so long time ago. The only difference between me and them, is that
I don't get too excited about it. Thats my apathy.
You know why I have that attitude today? Because I'm sick of
Malaysian political criticism. I'm sick of the way BN does not walk the
talk, I'm sick of the way DAP only talks about governments flaws, I'm
sick of the stubbornness & stupidity of the ministers & kampong
people, and I'm sick of the 1000 anti-government malaysian blogs. But
by saying this, I do not mean to discourage them (or you), if possible,
do go on what you do. Because this blogpost is more about myself
and let other people understand my stance in this matter.
................
There's only one thing I believe in faithfully. It is a one thing that
is universally applicable in anywhere & any part of your
life, be it politics, society, arts, science, music, whatever. It
is one thing I believe, that not only Malaysians but the people from
the rest of the world should try to do. It is this one thing I also
hope that both kampong people and anti-government crowd should do while
theyre not in politics.
What is this one thing?
This one thing is ..
"Doing something that makes the BEST of the PRESENT."
Still don't understand what I mean?
An example would be the American Blacks. They came from Africa and
migrated to the US. They faced a lot social injustice and racism in
America. But yet, they built their own culture there. Who created the
jazz, blues & hip hop culture? It was them, and it was
revolutionary. They did not bother about their old African traditions.
They CREATED something that was for the PRESENT. Which will be
remembered forever in the FUTURE.
Well the following below, are examples of something that people make the BEST out of the PRESENT in Malaysia:
1. Mamak - only the best mamaks in the world can only be found in Malaysia
2. Sports - Nicol David & Badminton Players - Top players in the WORLD
3. Eateries - Nasi Lemak, Satay, Bak Kut Teh, Durian, Ramly Burger
4. Personalities: - Asha Gill - [V] VJ & Travel documentary tv personality
Michelle Yeoh - International fame actress
5. Business & Entrepreneurs: Jimmy Choo, Lim Goh Tong, Tony Fernandes
So instead of blaming the government or anything else for everything,
lets all try to work in a more positive light, shall we? Doesn't it all
starts from the society first? We should need to respect ourselves more
and really make an impact on the society. By doing those things
mentioned. The more people who do it, the better. Then I believe one
day, the development of Malaysia one day can compete with Japan
& China.
I am currently trying to do that with music and with my fellow
Malaysian musician friends. Lets see what happens one day in the
future. =)
